On June the 26th we play Central Bar in Gateshead with People Making Noises and Black Atom Movement in a South of the Tyne special. Jarrow's PMN are back after a year away with their finely crafted instrumental anthems. Washington's Black Atom Movement are something to behold live with their explosive blues rock and roll, their new release "Stoned in Love" is getting a lot of attention on the local scene. This will be the first public performance of our new album "Frankland Lane" so lots of new material, look out for our never before heard song "Automaton". |
The 3rd of July see us return to one of our favorite venues, Empty Shop in Durham. Anyone who came to our album launch party last November knows how much we love the place. Always a friendly atmosphere guaranteed with a clued up crowd of real music fans. We'll be sharing the stage with Rocking Horse label mates this then, with their intricate post rock sounds. To top off a night of interesting new sounds, Newcastle's The Long Lonesome Go will be giving us a lesson in how to push the boundaries of experimental music. |
On July 25th we return to Bede's World for the annual Rivet Catcher all day beer festival. If the weather holds up they'll be using the outdoor stage for a proper summer festival feel. Plenty of BBQ food and of course fine ales from the Jarrow brewery. Music from local bands of all genres and always a friendly crowd, if it's anything like last years it should be good one . |
